Workshops

Do I need any prior experience to join a workshop?

No prior experience is necessary. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced weaver, my workshops are designed to accommodate different skill levels. I provide guidance and support throughout the process, ensuring everyone can learn and create at their own pace.

But I am neither creative nor crafty. Can I still participate in your workshops?

Absolutely! My beginners workshops offer a fun and welcoming environment for individuals of all backgrounds to explore weaving. With step-by-step guidance and support, you can enjoy the experience and create beautiful woven pieces, regardless of your level of creativity or craftiness.

What materials and equipment will I need for the workshops?

The materials and equipment needed for each workshop may vary. In general, I will provide the necessary looms, tools, and a selection of yarns for you to use during the workshop when specified in the workshop description. Additional materials, such as specialty yarns or personal preferences, may be discussed beforehand or available for purchase.

Can I bring my own weaving equipment or materials?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own weaving equipment or materials if you have them. Just let me know in advance, so we can discuss any specific requirements or adjustments needed for the workshop.

I just bought a new loom but cannot figure out how to weave on it. Can you help me?

Absolutely! If you're struggling to weave on your new loom, I offer assistance through my private workshops. These workshops are specifically designed to provide guidance and support for individuals like you who are looking to learn how to weave on their newly acquired looms. With step-by-step instructions and hands-on demonstrations, I'll help you overcome any challenges and gain the confidence to weave on your new loom successfully.

Will I be able to complete a project during the workshop?

The goal of the workshops is to provide hands-on experience and guide you through the process of creating your own handmade items. While completing a larger project within the workshop timeframe may not always be feasible, you will gain valuable skills and knowledge to continue working on your project independently at home.

If you require additional time to finish your project, looms can be rented for a small fee. This allows you to continue your work at home and complete your project at your own pace. Please refer to the loom rental conditions for more details on availability and pricing.
