I am Marie, a weaver based in the Leiden area—ideally located between Amsterdam and The Hague in the Netherlands.
From my home studio, I combine traditional craftsmanship with modern design. Whether I am weaving intricate patterns or teaching a workshops, my focus is always on high-quality natural fibers, vibrant color, and modern texile.
From my home studio near Leiden, I make small collections of wearable art and home textiles—from scarves and shawls to table textiles and baby blankets. Everything I produce is shaped by my love of color and attention to detail.
I work with high-quality natural fibers and eco-conscious materials to create one-of-a-kind heirloom pieces. My collection includes scarves, shawls, table textiles, throws, and baby blankets that are meant to be used and loved for many years.
Because every item is made by hand, no two pieces are the same. If you find something that speaks to you, grab it while it is available.
Alongside my own work, I offer weaving workshops around Leiden and occasionally in my home studio. Whether you are looking for a fun afternoon or a more in-depth course, I share my 10 years of experience to help you get comfortable at the loom.
Not only do I teach technique but I will also guide you through the design process. I will help you in find your own style so you can create a piece that is truly yours. Workshops are available for small groups or as private lessons.
