Whether you are a total beginner looking for a new hobby, a fun afternoon, or looking to improve your skills, these workshops provide a supportive and professional space to learn.
Based in Leiden and Wassenaar -conveniently located between Amsterdam and The Hague- these sessions are designed to help you re/discover weaving at your own pace in a "gezelig" environment. I provide all necessary looms and high-quality materials so you can focus entirely on the creative work.
You can choose between a Discovery session to try weaving for the first time or a Foundations course for a more technical start.

Want to experience the joy of weaving without the technical setup? This 3-hour session is the perfect way to jump straight into the creative process and see what it feels like to weave on a loom.
Workshop Highlights: Choosing your materials, experiencing the weaving process, and creating a unique wall hanging.
Technical Skills: Basic weaving techniques and managing the shuttle on a pre-warped loom.
Equipment: Kromski Rigid Heddle, Lojan Flex, or Louet Erica. When you arrive, the loom will be warped and ready for you to start.
All-Inclusive: All materials and yarns are provided. You will have a beautiful handwoven wall hanging to take home.

Have you ever wanted to try weaving? Whether you are tempted to buy a loom or just want to create something unique, this workshop is perfect for you. You will learn the skills to set up a loom independently and start weaving with confidence.
Workshop Highlights: Designing a scarf or cowl, easy loom setup, and creative weaving techniques.
Technical Skills: Dressing a rigid heddle loom, managing tension, and finishing techniques including fringes and washing.
Equipment: Kromski Harp, Presto, or Lojan Flex looms are available. It is possible to take the loom home to finish your project for a small fee and deposit.
All-Inclusive: All materials and yarns are included.

Join us for this introduction to bandweaving on an inkle loom. This workshop is designed for anyone who wants to learn how to create their own decorative bands, straps, or belts>
Workshop Highlights: Designing a band, choosing suitable yarn, and setting up the inkle loom.
Technical Skills: Mastering the warping process, managing tension, and basic weaving techniques for narrow bands.
Equipment: Lojan Inkle looms are available for use during the session.

This course is built for brand-new weavers and new loom owners alike. If you are looking to brush up on your skills, become more efficient, or learn some tips and tricks, this course is also for you.
Workshop Highlights: Planning a project, choosing suitable yarn, and mastering the technique of dressing your loom.
Technical Skills: Learning to read weaving drafts, troubleshooting issues at the loom, and exploring various finishing techniques.
Equipment: Louet Erica and Lojan Flex 4-shaft looms are available. It is possible to rent a loom to work on your project at home for a small fee and a deposit.
All-Inclusive: All materials and yarns are included.
