Private Course Policy

Reservation:

• Private courses must be booked in advance to secure a time slot.

• A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your reservation. The deposit amount will be communicated on a case-by-case basis (if 1 hour and a half or less is booked, the full amount is due and serves as a deposit).

• The deposit covers administrative and preparatory work upon reservation.

Payment Schedule:

• Full payment is due 7 days before the scheduled session.

Payment Method:

• Payments can be made through the link provided when the invoice is sent, when applicable, or by bank transfer to the account mentioned in the invoice.

Cancellation and Rescheduling:

• Rescheduling:

  • Clients may request to reschedule a session with at least 7 days' notice.

  • Rescheduling is subject to availability.

• Cancellation by the Client:

  • More than 7 days before the scheduled session: Full reimbursement, including the deposit.

  • Less than 7 days but more than 48 hours before the scheduled session: The deposit will be retained.

  • Less than 48 hours before the scheduled session: The client will be charged the full amount for the session.

• Cancellation by the Service Provider (Marie Handwovens):

  • The service provider reserves the right to cancel the private course up to  the evening prior to it at the latest, with the exception of force majeure where it would be possible to cancel on the day.

  • If rescheduling is not possible and the cancellation is initiated by the service provider: Full reimbursement to the client for the entire booked duration or, if applicable, the deposit amount.

Refund Process:

• Reimbursements for private courses, when applicable, will be processed within 5 business days of the cancellation or unsuccessful rescheduling.
