Workshop looms

For my workshops I use two types of looms, rigid heddles looms from Kromski and multishaft looms from Louët.  At the end of the workshop you have the possibility to buy any of these looms at retail price.

Kromski looms

The Kromski looms are rigid heddle looms made in Poland. They are small, portable and perfect for workshops (I can fit 6 looms easily in my cargo bike so great for the Netherlands). And they are great for bringing on holidays.

Why Kromski?

They are well made (like most major brands that sell rigid heddle looms) but I particularly favor the metal ratchet and pawl fitted on both type of looms and they are made in Europe (the other major brands are made in the US or New Zealand).

Louët looms

The Louët Erica loom is a multishaft loom, the one you will be using during the workshop will be equipped with 4 shafts. They are made here in the NL.

Why Louët?

The reason for choosing them is very similar to the Kromski looms, they are well made table looms (again like most major brands), made in the NL, so could not be more local to me and they too have a metal ratchet and pawl system. I choose the Erica over the Jane, also from Louët, because they were much lighter and therefore ideal for me to carry around for workshops.
